Robotization of Transport Logistics of the Surgical Department of the Hospital

Abstract
Transport logistics of hospitals is the most important and most demanded structure of a medical institution. Logistical issues impact delivery of medicines, food, equipment, and storage facilities in hospitals. High surgical care demands timely patient delivery to operating room. This paper proposes methods for improving existing surgical gurneys by electrifying the running gear, circuitry interfacing the electric trolley with the control capabilities of the Raspberry Pi 4 minicomputer. This allows to intellectualize the software and hardware (SaH) of the transport trolley to the level of an IoT device.
