IOAI is the leading AI competition for school students. This year, Kazakhstan will be represented by two teams and eight talented students: Sultanbi Issatay, Batyr Yerdenov, Talim Aushakhman, Dauzhan Beketov, Abu Kanabek, Zhanibek Kassymkan, Timur Shakurov, and Sultanbek Sary.
This is our first time at the olympiad, but we believe in our students. We wish them success!
Kazakhstan's team placed 17th among 110 countries at the 66th International Mathematical Olympiad, held in Australia in July.
Our medalists: 🥈 Miron Yurkevich — 73rd place; 🥈 Amirlan Amanzholov — 82nd; 🥈 Margulan Sharel — 91st; 🥈 Amir Sakhipov — 91st; 🥉 Yerkanat Kengshilik — 203rd; 🥉 Yerassyl Altynbek — 243rd.
The team scored 175 out of 252 points and entered the world's top 20. Despite not winning gold, this is one of Kazakhstan's best results in recent years and confirms the high level of preparation among its school students.

Around 200 guests attended, including DSML residents, our media partners, and representatives of the country's largest technology companies.
