I'm Yerali Agibayev, a Mathematical and Computational Science undergraduate at Astana IT University and a mathematics mentor at HardMentors, where I help students build real problem-solving intuition. Math is the core of how I approach everything — I've worked through multivariable calculus, ordinary differential equations, linear algebra, and group theory, and I don't just study these topics, I apply them: mathematical foundations are what let me treat ML/DS rigorously instead of using models as black boxes. On the applied side, I'm interested in low-resource NLP for Kazakh, RL for LLMs, and reproducible research, with practical engineering skills in Python and SQL.

Currently developing computer vision solutions for guppy fish social behavior classification. Interested in World Models, Gaussian Splatting, Computer Vision. Majoring in Computer Science and Math. Absolute 1st place on Kazakhstan National AI Olymp 2025.
