I earned my Ph.D. in Math from Hiroshima University in 2008. After a brief stint in the oil and gas industry, I found my way back to academia, joining Nazarbayev University in 2011. There, I began researching machine learning and NLP, eventually focusing on deep neural networks. In 2023, I joined Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW). My current research explores how modern AI systems memorize, generalize, and use probabilistic models. At both universities, I’ve designed and taught a wide range of courses across statistics and machine learning.

Currently developing computer vision solutions for guppy fish social behavior classification. Interested in World Models, Gaussian Splatting, Computer Vision. Majoring in Computer Science and Math. Absolute 1st place on Kazakhstan National AI Olymp 2025.

ML engineer and researcher with 2.5+ years of experience in computer vision and generative AI. I specialize in diffusion models (fine-tuning FLUX, ControlNet, LoRA), portrait animation pipelines, video generation, and the development of generative CV systems—from researching SOTA methods to production deployment.

Applied Mathematics graduate from Lead Data Scientist/MLOps. I build DS/ML/AI systems - speech analytics, time series forecasting, LLM integration, and teach ML courses University. Preparing to start a master's sometime soon.
