People in DSML Kazakhstan

Product and delivery leader, 10+ years. Founded an AI direction from scratch at the largest telecom in Kazakhstan - 30+ specialists, three product tracks, 50M+ KZT saved annually. Hands-on with the technical decisions.

I am a third-year PhD student in Artificial Intelligence at Nazarbayev University, specializing in Deep Learning and Computer Vision. I have experience working on a variety of AI and computer vision tasks, particularly in medical image analysis and image segmentation. I have already authored and contributed to research publications and have experience in academic research and scientific writing. In addition, I have teaching experience, including supporting students in technical and quantitative subjects. My research interests focus on developing deep learning methods for challenging computer vision and medical imaging problems.

Product Manager focused on AI products. Over three years, I've taken 5 enterprise AI products from zero to deployment for clients across retail, mining, aerospace, and government. I own the full cycle from discovery and requirements to release and support. Selected results: an LLM/RAG assistant that cut request-handling time to 10 seconds and doubled consultation quality; an equipment-wear prediction system modeled at ~$130K per asset in avoided downtime; a computer-vision analytics system for a 70-location chain; and an AI drone for production monitoring that contributed to a +4% gold-recovery uplift. I take full ownership of the products I run, including leading development, managing cross-functional teams without direct authority, fostering collaboration across engineering and business, and keeping stakeholders aligned from C-suite to ministerial level. On the craft side, I own product vision, roadmap, backlog, PRDs and user stories, unit economics, A/B testing, and integrations (REST API, LLM). I've presented products to audiences up to the prime ministers of five countries.
