About You
I earned my Ph.D. in Math from Hiroshima University in 2008. After a brief stint in the oil and gas industry, I found my way back to academia, joining Nazarbayev University in 2011. There, I began researching machine learning and NLP, eventually focusing on deep neural networks. In 2023, I joined Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW). My current research explores how modern AI systems memorize, generalize, and use probabilistic models. At both universities, I’ve designed and taught a wide range of courses across statistics, data science, and machine learning—ranging from Probability and Time Series Analysis to Statistical Learning.

Looks like a lot of fun :) I want to learn something and share my experience as well.
