Data Scientist / ML Engineer / AI Engineer
I’m a Data Scientist / ML Engineer / AI Engineer based in Astana. At the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan, I work as a Chief Expert in AI and Data Science and teach data analysis and machine learning.
My portfolio covers customer behavior, HR analytics, predictive modeling, NLP and computer vision. I work with Python, SQL, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow and FastAPI, and bring previous experience in engineering and project management at Tengizchevroil. My education includes a BSc in Petroleum Engineering with honors (Middle East Technical University), an MBA in Sustainable Development (AOGU University), and an MSc in History (AIU University).

Built a classification pipeline to predict declining customer purchasing activity. Compared four models, tuned hyperparameters, interpreted predictions with SHAP, and segmented customers by risk and profitability. Logistic Regression test ROC-AUC: 0.923; cross-validation ROC-AUC: approximately 0.898.
Open projectDeveloped models for employee satisfaction and attrition using preprocessing pipelines and Decision Trees. Added predicted satisfaction as an attrition feature and analyzed risk factors. Test ROC-AUC: approximately 0.912; satisfaction test SMAPE: approximately 13.35%.
Open projectCompared three regions using linear regression, selected the top 200 wells from 500 candidates, and assessed profit uncertainty with 1000 Bootstrap samples. Recommended region 1 under the project assumptions: modeled mean profit approximately RUB 497.9 million and loss risk 0.90%.
Open projectCleaned data on over 350,000 used-car listings and compared Ridge, Decision Tree and LightGBM for prediction quality, training time and inference speed. LightGBM achieved test RMSE of approximately 1616 and cross-validation RMSE of approximately 1635.
