Brain MRI disease classification
Department project. Developed a Multi-Branch CNN to classify MRI scans into six classes. Tuned hyperparameters with Optuna and evaluated performance using five-fold stratified cross-validation. Achieved Macro F1 of 0.9616 ± 0.0151 in cross-validation.
Open projectGaze direction detection for a proctoring system
Team academic project. Used a pretrained model and implemented projection of the gaze vector onto the monitor plane using an approach from a research paper. Contributed to a microservice application launched with Docker Compose.
Open projectAdapting a neural machine translation model to slang and conversational speech
Personal project. Prepared an English-Russian parallel corpus using synthetic translations of imageboard messages and OpenSubtitles dialogue selected by a toxicity classifier. Fine-tuned OPUS-MT from English to Russian on 12,500 pairs and evaluated it with SacreBLEU on a held-out 5% sample.
