Speech and NLP Researcher
Voice/Speech, Interpretability, Differential Privacy My research focuses on how speech and language models learn and represent linguistic knowledge in deep learning models.
I am particularly interested in multilingual and speech-language models, including how language information is represented and used, what models gain from direct intervention or targeted re-alignment on speech, and how training, modality, and multilinguality shape their behavior, and how similar this behavior is to human language perception.
