Built an iOS safety app and a FastAPI/MongoDB backend during a selective internship program.

• Selected as one of 75 participants from a pool of 4100+ applications, representing a rate of approximately 1.8% • Developed an iOS application using Swift, enabling real-time tracking of individuals and providing a contactless way to report life-threatening situations, addressing violence-related issues and promoting personal safety • Architected the iOS application from scratch using the MVVM pattern, ensuring strict separation of concerns and scalable codebase structure across 10+ custom UI screens

Financial Information Retrieval Engine

Built a hybrid BM25 and dense retrieval pipeline for the BEIR FiQA dataset, indexing over 57,000 financial documents and queries. Reciprocal Rank Fusion achieved nDCG@10 of 0.285 and improved P@1 and MAP by 12% over the BM25 baseline.

Twitter Sentiment Analysis

Compared 10 classical machine-learning and deep-learning models for airline tweet sentiment analysis. Fine-tuned BERT-based transformers to achieve an F1-score of 85%, 5% above baseline models.

Cars Prices Prediction Challenge

Developed and tuned a regression pipeline on over 46,000 records and 13 features; achieved a test-set R2 of 90.2%.

ContextGuard AI

Built a real-time meeting assistant with live speech-to-text, Gemini-powered agents, asynchronous service workflows, and load-balanced EU deployment designed around GDPR privacy principles. Won $4,000 total as a team, including second place in the Vultr track and an additional Google DeepMind award.

Speech-to-text Transformer

Trained a Transformer model for speech-to-text with 96% accuracy and deployed the inference pipeline on a Django backend with latency under 650ms.
