Selected projects

Datathon, Nazarbayev University

Won 1st place among 24 teams at a 2025 AI hackathon focused on industry challenges. A three-person team designed and prototyped a social media moderation bot for Russian and Kazakh, with comment parsing, spam and offensive-content detection, type and sentiment classification, and context-aware reply generation based on company information. Awarded $1,000 in prize funding.

AI Hackathon, shai.pro

Won 2nd place among 243 teams in 2025. A four-person team designed and prototyped an agent in five days to analyze sales calls and provide feedback to managers. The system combined an open-source Russian speech-to-text model and diarization with LLaMA-based language models for transcription, dialogue analysis and recommendations. Awarded $7,000 in prize funding.

Helmet Detection and Classification

2024 computer-vision project for real-time detection of protective helmets and classification by color, intended to improve PPE monitoring, prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas and identify safety violations. Based on a case report provided by KazDreams; presented at NURIS Hardware Challenge 3.0, where the team won among 97 teams and received $2,000 in funding.

Safety Monitoring System for Industrial Enterprises

2023 automated system using computer vision and machine learning to monitor employee compliance with safety regulations at energy industrial enterprises. The team won the Student Energy Challenge-2023 republic competition among 50 teams and received $5,000 in funding.
