Venture-backed fintech providing data-driven insights to institutional investors. Build automated data-extraction pipeline for financial filings at scale

Responsibilities:
• Implement extraction logic combining rule-based and NLP techniques
• Build PDF/HTML parsing & table-extraction pipelines
• Establish automated testing and monitoring processes
• Document architecture for system extension and maintenance

Requirements:
• 5+ yrs backend/data-engineering experience, 2+ yrs NLP or document-understanding pipelines
• Proven track record parsing complex PDFs/HTML at scale
• Deep Python proficiency and NLP/LLM techniques

Optional:
• Familiarity with financial filings, basic accounting concepts, time-series data modeling
• Workflow orchestration (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster)
• Vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant) and retrieval-augmented generation workflows
