Wireless Information and Power Transfer Systems in Biomedicine: A New Perspective on High-Speed Applications
Kassen Dautov, Galymzhan Nauryzbayev, Mohammad Hashmi
Abstract
The near-field wireless information and power transfer system that can support high data rate applications presented in this paper. It was developed by coupling dual-band resonators (DBRs) oscillating at the practical frequencies of 433 MHz and 900 MHz. In turn, the required DBRs were designed applying the slotted ground plane technique. Furthermore, when two 20×20 mm2DBRs are separated by 18 mm, the power transfer efficiency was measured to be around 60% for both operating bands. Finally, the obtained bandwidth of 9 MHz at the data transfer band allows allocating several resource blocks.
