Abstract
With the growth of massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs), providing a good gaming experience for players remains a challenge, especially in terms of real-time multiplayer interaction technology. This study explores the impact of technical playability factors (including map functionality, voice communication quality, and system response) on player satisfaction. The study employs a quantitative research method to assess the impact of technical factors on game playability and user experience, with a total of 1,064 valid samples collected. The results indicate that accurate and responsive map systems, along with seamless system performance, are crucial for enhancing player immersion and team collaboration. While the influence of voice communication is relatively limited, its contribution becomes significant when combined with other communication methods. However, this study is limited by its cross-sectional design and sample scope, which target only Chinese players, thereby restricting its generalizability. These findings provide actionable insights for user-centred MMOG design, emphasizing the importance of technical optimization in enhancing team-based gaming experiences.
