Abstract
28 users of the digital programmable hearing aids were examined by using the COSI questionnaire and the Russian matrix sentence test (RuMatrix) in free sound field, in quiet and in noise conditions. The results indicate that the RuMatrix test in noise is highly informative not only to assess the effectiveness of hearing aids but also to predict the hearing aid benefit.
