New direction in Cryptography: Homomorphic Encryption
Alla B. Levina, Victor Kadykov, Dmitrii Kaplun
Abstract
Homomorphic Encryption was firstly introduced in 1978, but even nowadays it can be named as a ”new direction” in cryptography due to the limited researches in this area. The main idea of homomorphic encryption is to give users the possibility to change encrypted data without its decryption. In this work the main mathematical concept of homomorphic encryption will be shortly described, the new method for obtaining homomorphism in an encryption system based on set theory will be illustrated.
