Delta operator filter design for hydroacoustic tasks

Abstract

A method of accurate and compact delta operator filter design is presented. The properties of passband IIR delta-operator filter was investigated on a short data type. Study show that shift operator filter with same parameters is impracticable. Proposed design method is suitable for signal processing tasks in sonars, underwater small objects detection systems and other hydroacoustic devices implementation.
