Abstract
Modern broadband communication systems equipped with high-precision location determination systems are actively used for the efficient data transmission in mining quarries management. This article presents an analysis of a specific example of using automated systems to manage mining quarries, where various wireless data transmission technologies are employed. The experience gained from implementing wireless technologies for real-time control of earth-moving and construction machinery in mining quarries can be valuable in the implementation of similar projects for vehicle management in other industries.
