Gaziza Yelibayeva, Lena Zhetkenbay
Abstract
The rapid advancement of information technologies and the growing scope of their application necessitate the development of systems capable of efficiently processing and analyzing text in natural language. To achieve this, it is essential to create a robust knowledge base specific to a given subject area. This research paper addresses the issue of ontological modeling for defining the rules and conditions governing pre-election debates. Pre-election debates serve as a critical tool in democratic processes, enabling candidates to present their work programs and positions comprehensively to the public. Effective debate management helps ensure informed voting decisions. In the context of computational linguistics, the outcomes of this study can be applied in various domains, such as electronic thesauri, multimedia question-and-answer systems, intelligent learning environments, particularly in the Kazakh language. The proposed ontological model could further enhance automated systems' understanding and processing of political discourse, providing significant contributions to the analysis of natural language in the political domain.
