We spoke with Limon Media about our community, Kaggle competitions, and the use of AI in healthcare.

🎉 A major milestone for our community! Almost eight years after its founding, DSML KZ now has an official website: https://www.dsml.kz

We believe this will give our growth new momentum!

1. A single entry point to all our media resources:

• Discussion Hub “Zhana DSML”
• News channel
• Job boards: Aimoldin Jobs and IT Jobs
• YouTube
• LinkedIn
• Articles with in-depth materials and research created by our community

2. Registration and member profile cards:

• Every participant can now have a personal account and a community profile card
• Member search will be available in resident accounts, while the Discussion Hub has a bot with the /whois command

We believe strong connections form when members recognize one another and can meet in the same city.

3. Communication through the website: In the future, the core of our community will move to the website, allowing even people outside Telegram to stay connected with us!

New sections are coming soon:

• Companies: We will aggregate your personal reviews of companies and their HR processes
• Mentoring: an AI-backed peer-to-peer educational platform
• Events: announcements of upcoming events and materials from past ones
• Collaboration: what we offer the world

Afterword: The website is still a little rough—it was built by one Sneddy and two AI assistants 😅 If you find a bug, email aimoldin@yahoo.com.

We want DSML KZ to become a meaningful force not only in the AI community but in the life of the whole country. Once again, all these tools were created for your growth, and we are always happy to highlight your achievements and support your initiatives!

Qualification problems from Kazakhstan's first national AI olympiad for school students

If you are a school student interested in machine learning who missed the olympiad—or simply a factory worker who wants to test yourself against Kazakhstani students—welcome to the contest!

You can solve it at any time. To keep the experiment fair, we recommend avoiding help from AI assistants.

The olympiad results will be announced after the proctoring systems have been carefully reviewed and the awards have been presented.

We never get tired of being proud of how AI enthusiasts from Kazakhstan are changing the global technology landscape

This time, it is a major success for Higgsfield AI, the Kazakhstani startup founded by Yerzat Dulat, whose team is building what seemed impossible only recently.

On March 31, Higgsfield AI introduced a new model that brings images and videos to life by adding sophisticated camera techniques.

Users immediately began experimenting with the model, animating photos and memes as well as scenes from iconic films and reshooting them in a new style.

The results followed quickly:

• One video on X reached 9.1 million views, outperforming every U.S. competitor
• In China, Higgsfield videos are spreading widely on Weibo and reaching more than 10 million users
• The team recently announced an official partnership with AMD, one of the world's leaders in processors and GPUs

Congratulations to Higgsfield and the entire team

We believe this is only the beginning!
