Careem was the first technology unicorn in the region and joined Uber in 2020. We are expanding in Central Asia and are looking for our first Data Scientist in Kazakhstan

Responsibilities:
• Drive personalization and analytics for millions of users
• Develop local data science presence
• Own full lifecycle: data analysis, model building, deployment

Requirements:
• 6–8 years in ML with predictive modeling and deep learning
• 1–2 years in personalization, recommendations, or search
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (CS, Statistics or related)
• Solid knowledge of ML and AB testing
• Experience in DB (Oracle, BigQuery), and bid gata (Spark, Hadoop etc)
