Heart Center Foundation is developing an innovative medical device.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain embedded software for STM32 microcontrollers in C using FreeRTOS
• Develop application software in C/C++ for single-board computers running Linux
• Support and enhance existing codebase, participate in software architecture design and code reviews
• Maintain technical documentation for developed software and interaction protocols.
Requirements:
• Proficient in C for embedded development
• Commercial software development experience for STM32 microcontrollers
• Experience with FreeRTOS
• Proficient in working with MCU peripherals (UART, I2C, ADC, DMA)
• Practical experience with CAN / FDCAN
• Ability to read datasheets/reference manuals and implement drivers for external chips via I2C/SPI/UART
• Experience with Git
• Ability to work with an oscilloscope, multimeter, and logic analyzer
• Ability to read electrical schematics at the level required for firmware development
• Software development for single-board computers. Knowledge of Linux OS and proficiency in Linux environment. Experience in developing and building applications in C/C++ for Linux, including ARM platforms.
Optional:
• Experience with Yocto, Buildroot, or similar build systems
• Experience in developing graphical interfaces for embedded Linux, including using LVGL
